Inspections will be scheduled as follows:

All schools with 'good' or 'outstanding' Section 48 judgements last time will be scheduled for their next Section 48 within five school years from the end of the school year within which they were last inspected. Schools less than 'good' will be scheduled within 3-5 years from the end of the school year within which they were last inspected. In all cases, a school's denominational inspection may be brought forward if there are concerns.

The new SIAMS Evaluation Schedule has now made the 2005 -2012 Toolkit redundant. Schools may wish to develop their own self-evaluation process over time. However, the National Society has produced a model you should consider using unless your school has produced something better! - see: Self Evaluation Model file below. A word version is also attached so it can be downloaded and used as a working document. Don't forget, this is an opportunity for to tell your story, celebrate your distinctiveness and show the relationship between self-evaluation and the school's planning for development.
